Simon Smårs

I’m an analog fine art photographer based in Stockholm Sweden. My work is a mixture of minimalistic scapes paired with a melancholic somber, with scenes often stripped to its bare essence.

Using really long exposures or infrared light spectrum I’m trying to show beauty in the ordinary and far beyond what the human eye can see.

I work exclusively with handmade traditional darkroom techniques using fiber based silver gelatine prints and analog medium format film cameras.
